एक व्यक्ति हमेशा ईश्वर के नाम का जाप किया करता था। धीरे धीरे वह काफी बुजुर्ग हो चला था इसीलिए एक कमरे मे ही पड़ा रहता था।जबभी उसे शौच; स्नान आदि के लिये जाना होता था; वह अपने बेटो को आवाज लगाता था और बेटे ले जाते थे।धीरे धीरे कुछ दिन बाद बेटे कई बार आवाज लगाने के बाद भी कभी कभी आते और देर रात तो नहीं भी आते थे।इस दौरान वे कभी-कभी गंदे बिस्तर पर ही रात बिता दिया करते थे।अ

अबऔर ज्यादा बुढ़ापा होने के कारण उन्हें कम दिखाई देने लगा था एक दिन रात को निवृत्त होने के लिये जैसे ही उन्होंने आवाज लगायी, तुरन्त एक लड़का आता है और बडे ही कोमल स्पर्श के साथ उनको निवृत्त करवा कर बिस्तर पर लेटा जाता है । अब ये रोज का नियम हो गया।ए

एकरात उनको शक हो जाता है कि, पहले तो बेटों को रात में कई बार आवाज लगाने पर भी नही आते थे। लेकिन ये  तो आवाज लगाते ही दूसरे क्षण आ जाता है और बडे कोमल स्पर्श से सब निवृत्त करवा देता है।ए

एकरात वह व्यक्ति उसका हाथ पकड लेता है और पूछता है कि सच बता तू कौन है ? मेरे बेटे तो ऐसे नही हैं।

अभी अंधेरे कमरे में एक अलौकिक उजाला हुआऔर उस लड़के रूपी ईश्वर ने अपना वास्तविक रूप दिखाया।

वह व्यक्ति रोते हुये कहता है : हे प्रभु आप स्वयं मेरे निवृत्ती के कार्य कर रहे है । यदि मुझसे इतने प्रसन्न हो तो मुक्ति ही दे दो ना।

प्रभु कहते है कि जो आप भुगत रहे है वो आपके प्रारब्ध है । आप मेरे सच्चे साधक है; हर समय मेरा नाम जप करते है इसलिये मै आपके प्रारब्ध भी आपकी सच्ची साधना के कारण स्वयं कटवा रहा हूँ।

व्यक्ति कहता है कि क्या मेरे प्रारब्ध आपकी कृपा से भी बडे है; क्या आपकी कृपा, मेरे प्रारब्ध नही काट सकती है।

प्रभु कहते है कि, मेरी कृपा सर्वोपरि है; ये अवश्य आपके प्रारब्ध काट सकती है; लेकिन फिर अगले जन्म मे आपको ये प्रारब्ध भुगतने फिर से आना होगा । यही कर्म नियम है । इसलिए आपके प्रारब्ध मैं स्वयं अपने हाथो से कटवा कर इस जन्म-मरण से आपको मुक्ति देना चाहता हूँ ।

ईश्वर कहते है: प्रारब्ध तीन तरह के होते है :

मन्द, तीव्र तथा तीव्रतम

मन्द प्रारब्ध,– मेरा नाम जपने से कट जाते हैं।

            तीव्र प्रारब्ध* किसी सच्चे संत का संग करके श्रद्धा और विश्वास से मेरा नाम जपने पर कट जाते है । 

पर तीव्रतम प्रारब्ध भुगतने ही पडते है।

लेकिन जो हर समय श्रद्धा और विश्वास से मुझे जपते हैं; उनके प्रारब्ध मैं स्वयं साथ रहकर कटवाता हूँ और तीव्रता का अहसास नहीं होने देता हूँ।प्रारब्ध पहले रचा, पीछे रचा शरीर ।

  तुलसी चिन्ता क्यों करे, भज ले श्री रघुबीर।।

English translation-

                                     destiny

 A person always used to chant the name of God.  Slowly he had become very old, so he used to lie in one room only. Whenever he had to defecate;  Had to go for bath etc.;  He used to call his sons and take them away. Gradually, after a few days, the sons would sometimes come and not even late at night, even after making several sounds. During this time they sometimes spent the night on the dirty bed.  used to give.

 Now due to his old age, he had started seeing less, one day as soon as he made a sound to retire at night, immediately a boy comes and with a very soft touch, he is retired and makes him lie on the bed.  Now it has become a daily routine.

 One night they get suspicious that, earlier the sons did not come even after raising their voice several times in the night.  But it comes at the second moment as soon as the sound is raised and with a very soft touch makes everything retire.

 One night the person grabs her hand and asks who are you to tell the truth?  My sons are not like that.

 Just now a supernatural light appeared in the dark room and the boy in the form of God showed his true form.

 The person weeps and says: Oh Lord, you yourself are doing the work of my retirement.  If you are so pleased with me, then give me liberation.

 GOD says that whatever you are suffering is your destiny.  You are my true seeker;  Chanting my name all the time, that's why I am getting your destiny cut myself because of your true spiritual practice.

 The person says whether my destiny is bigger than your grace;  Can't your grace cut off my destiny?

 The Lord says that my grace is paramount;  It can definitely bite your destiny;  But then in the next life you will have to come again to suffer this destiny.  This is the law of karma.  Therefore, by getting your destiny cut with my own hands, I want to free you from this birth and death.

 God says: There are three types of destiny:

 slowest, sharpest and fastest

 Mild destiny, - by chanting my name, it is cut off.

 Intense destiny is cut off by chanting my name with faith and belief in association with a true saint.

 But the most intense destiny has to be suffered.

 *But those who chant Me with reverence and faith all the time;  I get their destiny cut by staying with myself and I do not allow the feeling of intensity.

 Lord is created first, body is created behind.
